Lisa participates in literary readings in and around her region. She has three published books, each a collection of her works from different venues. She also teaches online courses and can speak on a variety of subjects.
A lifetime learner, Lisa has researched and studied subjects related to rural life, natural health, gardening, self-reliance, publishing, small business, writing, and more. She is available in the following capacity for interesting and intriguing projects and people:
Teaching: Lisa has provided homeschool instruction for high school students; trained disadvantaged women basic job skills; taught English, business, and creative writing to adults; and speech and essay writing to college students.
Speaking: Lisa is happy to read her creative work publicly, or to speak on a variety of topics including gardening, research, library programs, writing, overcoming writer’s block, creative expression with words, and more. She teaches workshops and sessions on nature writing, journaling, memoir, reflective writing, and descriptive writing.
Writing: Lisa offers a variety of writing workshops and sessions–in person and online.
